Hirer “Boat
Captain”
under 18 years of age is not accepted. They are responsible
for the equipment. They must show a document at the embarkation
moment. R.V.F. reserves the right to refuse to hand over
a boat to any hirer who, in its opinion is not suitable to
take charge.
Booking/Payment
your booking is operative when the booking form has been signed
and received, with the enclosed relative down payment, by
R.V.F. It is final on receipt of the full payment (at least
30 days before the departure day).
Deposit
A deposit (as in the price list) must be paid in cash, euro
cheque or credit card on the departure day. All or part of
this sum will be returned at the end of the cruise if the
boat and its equipment are in good condition, with no damage,
at the agreed place and time. It is possible to request and
pay a supplementary insurance on the day of departure to
cover the deposit amount.
Cancellation by Rendez-vous Fantasia.
If R.V.F. can not provide the hirer with the booked boat because
of unforeseeable circumstances, it undertakes to use all
means at its disposal to obtain a boat of similar capacity
and standard to that initially hired. If it is not possible
Rendez-vous Fantasia will refund all the hire charge.
Insurances
The cruise price includes the insurance of the boat, of its
equipment and the hirer’s third party liability. The
insurance does not cover the hirer’s personal belonging
and Rendez-vous Fantasia accepts no responsibility in the
event of loss or damage of the hirer’s personal belongings.
Assistance/Accident
The hire price includes breakdown assistance. The hirer undertakes
to report immediately to R.V.F. any accident or breakdown
in which he is involved and to abstain from any unnecessary
or not urgent initiatives. The hirer shall have no claims
against R.V.F. as a result of any grounding or breakdown
or failure of the boat’s engine or equipment when such
breakdown or failure is due to the negligence of the hirer.
R.V.F. will have the right to recover from the hirer the
expenses incurred to rectify the matter.
Embarkation
The boat is put at the hirer's disposal at the agreed time
and date after performing the following formalities:

registration of the captain’s document;
-
security
deposit and payment optional extras;
-
inventory
of the equipment in the boat and boat control;
-
technical
instruction for the use of all the equipment on the boat;
-
explanation
of navigation limits and routes, obligation and navigation
suggestions;
-
short
demonstration tour.
Return of the boat
The boat must be returned to R.V.F. at the end of the cruise
in good order and working conditions and at the agreed place
and time. The hirer undertakes to report any equipment lost,
broken or any damage. R.V.F. reserves the right to recover
from the hirer any expenses which it has incurred as a result
of late return or of the abandoning of the boat during the
cruise.
Use of the boat for the hire
R.V.F. undertakes to give adequate information and cruise instructions.
The hirer must follow the waterways regulation (river, channels,
lagoon, and coast). The hirer must cruise within the limits
indicated by R.V.F... Cruising is forbidden during the night,
within the first 500 meters and over 1 sea mile from the
sea coast; in the Canal Grande in Venice, in bad weather.
It is also forbidden: to tow the boat, to sublet or to lend
it, to moor in landing stage “ACTV”; to anchor
in ship-canals; to stay in sea at night.
Impossibility to cruise
If exceptional events make cruising difficult or impossible
so that the hirer can not sail for 48 hours or longer the
hire charge paid will be valid for an other vacation according
to availability.
Pets
Pets are welcome on the boat, but the User may not use in any
case the equipment aboard for the pet. All requirements for
the pet must be brought by the owner. A lump sum (as in the
price list) must be paid by the hirer on the departure day
to cover additional expenses due to a particular cleaning
that the presence of a pet in boat requires.
Cancellation Conditions:
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your booking, send
a letter of explanation to the hirer as soon as possible.
A cancellation fee according to the following scale will
be charged.
