So what will a Rose Narrowboat
Holiday be like?
Start
and Stop When You Like
Operating
the Boat
|
|

Enjoy
the Outdoorsubs,
Restaurants and Villages
|
Operating
the Locks
... is also part of the fun and even younger children can take part (with
care).
Again, they are easy to work, (with the exception of the odd stiff paddle)
and on a longer flight all the walking will give you an appetite for the
pub that is invariably at the end of it! |

Canal
Architecture and Scenery
You
will appreciate the many 200 year old features along
the way; bridges, locks, cottages and even boatyards.
New waterside developments, such as the exciting example in Birmingham,
provide new attractions.
The scenery is varied, taking in some breathtaking countryside as well
as the centre (and backyards) of towns and cities. |
|
|
Sleeping
on the Boat
... is part of the fun.
Waking up to the water lapping on the side of the boat, pulling back the
curtains to see the sun dispersing the early morning mist has an appeal
of its own that needs to be experienced.

Overseas
Visitors
..are specially welcome and a canal cruise is an ideal way to discover
the real England |
