1 General Terms and Conditions

•    1a. All prices quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling.
•    1b. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.
•     1c. All prices include standard mileage per day as stated in the tariff. Excess mileage charges are as stated in the tariff.
•     1d. All prices are inclusive of delivery/collection to/from addresses within 50 miles of Derby, Derbyshire. Porsche@Baslow would be happy to provide a quotation for delivery/collection upon request for addresses outside this range.
• 1e. A deposit of $7,500.00 is required on all hire periods.

2 Age Limits

• 2a. All drivers must be over 30 years and under 65 years of age and must have held a valid licence for at least three years. Certain endorsements may not be accepted, please check when making your reservation.

3 Proof of identity

• 3a. All drivers must provide a copy of driving licence (both parts in the case of the new style) and two recent utility bills (less than 6 months old) as proof of identity at the time of booking. Original versions must be provided at the start of the hire period.

4 Loss or Damage to Vehicle

• 4a. The Hirer shall be Liable for each and every accident involving any damage to or loss of the vehicle and/or 3rd party vehicle during the hire.
• 4b. Excessive wear or failure of tyres (other than accidental puncture), engine, gearbox and other mechanical components will be treated as damage.
• 4c. Porsche@Baslow reserve the right to retain the full security / insurance deposit until the cost / liability for any damage or loss has been fully accessed.

5 Additional Drivers

• 5a. The charge for each additional driver is $50.00 per day. His/her licence must be seen at the commencement of hire. NO OTHER PERSON MAY DRIVE THE VEHICLE.

6 Early Termination and Extensions

• 6a. No refunds provided in the event of the hire being terminated early. In the case that the termination is more than seven days prior to commencement of the hire period a credit for an alternative date will be provided.
• 6b. If the hirer wishes to extend the rental, he/she must advise us prior to the end of the current hire period and pay the additional costs prior to the extension. Failure to do this may result in the withdrawal of insurance cover. TO DRIVE WITHOUT INSURANCE COVER IS ILLEGAL.

7 Availability of Vehicles

• 7a. Every effort will be made to provide the vehicle chosen. However, Porsche@Baslow reserves the right to offer the nearest vehicle model as an alternative.

8 Additional Hours

• 8a. All hires are taken on a time basis as stated in the tariff. Vehicles returned later than the time stated on the rental agreement will be charged pro-rata.

9 Fuel (High Octane Only, e.g. Shall V-Power)

• 9a. The cost of fuel is not included in the rates. Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. Fuel required to refill cars to this level will incur a surcharge.

10 Payment

• 10a. To keep our costs as low as possible we currently only accept cash or cheques drawn from a UK major high street bank. Account facilities are available to registered UK Companies.
• 10b. Payments by cheque must be received at least seven days prior to the start of hire. Payments by cash or bank / building society guaranteed cheque are acceptable at the start of hire.

11 Overseas Use

• 11a. Vehicles must not leave mainland Britain without the written consent of Porsche@Baslow.

12 Traffic Violations

• 12a. Porsche@Baslow reserve the right to levy an administration charge of $37.50 for the processing of any traffic violations incurred during a hire period.

Porsche@Baslow reserves the right to vary the rates and conditions and to refuse and terminate any rental without giving prior reason or notice.
