Minimum age
In Poland, the following rules apply for the minimum age
and possession of a driver's licence:
21 years old/1 year for vehicles in groups EDMR and ETMR
23 years old/3 years for vehicles in groups CDMR, CLMR, CWMR, IDMR, IWMR, SDMR,
SWMR und SVMR
27 years old/3 years for vehicles in groups FDAR, FVMR, PDAR, SFMR, STMR, XDAR.
YOUNG
DRIVER SURCHARGE:
There is a young drivers surcharge of
PLN 24.40
incl tax per rental day for
drivers:
22-23 years for the following car groups: CDMR, CLMR, CWMR, IDMR,
IWMR, SDMR, SWMR, SVMR
26-27 years for the following car groups: FDAR, FVMR, SFMR, STMR,
XDAR.
LICENCE:
The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence.
Drivers also need
an international driver's licence, if he doesn't come of one of the following
countries:

THIRD
PARTY INSURANCE
nsurance
coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with
a maximum cover of PLN 1,750,000.- for personal injuries and material
damages. Maximum cover for personal injuries is PLN 1,750,000.- per
injured person and is limited to Europe only.
Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport
of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract
will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used
the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the
required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to
claim. .
CDW
Collision Damage Waiver removes the drivers responsibility
to a part of the vehicle in case of damage.
The cost of CDW is as follows: see table
If CDW is not accepted, the customer will be held liable for the
full value of the car.
If CDW is accepted, the customer is only responsible for the following
amounts:

THEFT
PROTECTION
Theft Protection removes the drivers responsibility
to a part of the vehicle in case of theft.
The cost of TP is as follows: see table
If TP is not accepted, the customer will be held liable for the

SERVICE
FEE/PREMIUM LOCATION FEE
A Service Fee of 12% on the basis rental rate (T&M) occurs
for rentals at airport and train stations.
FUEL
SURCHARGE
ll vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should
be refilled prior to return to Sixt, otherwise a charge of PLN
12.- per litre of petro/diesel will apply.
