This is the typical English spider, sporting and elegant;
it comes out of a project for a racing car,
the MG "EX 182", which took part in the 24 Hours
of Le Mans in 1955. Thanks to its line,
with superbly classic curves, it became the object of desires
for a lot of men of the '50 and the '60,
both in Europe and across the ocean. In the States became
the favourite car of the American Aeronautic
Officers back from the European bases, who used it to compete
on the airstrips. |
