In
1961 Triumph wanted to present a wholly new car which should
remember the previous TR3;
so TR4 was shown. This car, even if more modern, re-interpreted
the frontal part of the previous
series, creating a pleasant "family feeling". Designed
by Michelotti, it had a larger structure, a 2,2
liters engine and synchromesh gearbox. A new powerful spider
with a bossy line came out and
excited (and continues now) the heart of a lot of fans. |
