Child Seats You will need to choose a seat according to the child's weight. There are certain groups to choose from and a description of each is below to help you choose.

Group 0 (birth to 12 months) - 0-13kgs. Position: rear-facing, in front passenger seat or rear of vehicle. Installation: Ergonomically positioned and easily adjusted by the 3-point harness. Fixed with a 3-point safety belt. Presentation: Ergonomically designed to provide relief to the sensitivities of babies back. The dynamic design allows the baby to sleep in a more natural sleeping position and can be adjusted into 3 positions. The sun canopy offers extra protection from the harsh glare of the sun. Note: Not to be used if vehicle is equipped with side airbags.
Romer Child Seat. From 15 - 25kg. Position: forward-facing, in the rear of vehicle only. Installation: Fixed with a 3-point safety belt.
Klippan Optima Booster Seat with Back Booster seat with back. From 15 - 25kg. Position: forward-facing, in the rear of vehicle only. Installation: Fixed with a 3-point safety belt.
Klippan Optima Booster Seat Booster seat without back from 7-10 years / 15 - 25 kgs. Position: forward-facing, in the rear of vehicle only. Installation: Fixed with a 3-point safety belt.

Roof Bars The roof bars are delivered without straps and without covered protection. The bars are installed using fastening screws positioned between the door joint and roof. When the doors are closed, the fastening screws are thus hidden. It is thus theoretically impossible to steal the bars.

Roof Cycle Holder Ordering a roof cycle-holder requires roof bars. These need to be installed and is included in the price. The cycle-holder is easy to use. It consists of rail in 2 parts, which is easily dissembled, and a jointed frame maintenance fork. The frame is tightened using a wheel fitted with an anti-theft device & the wheels are fixed using 2 straps.Up to 3 cycle-holders can be positioned on the roof of a vehicle fitted with a pair of roof bars.

Roof Ski Holder or Snowboard Holder Ordering a ski-holder requires that a pair of transverse roof bars. These need to be installed and is included in the price. The ski holder also allows skis and snowboards to be combined. The ski-holder is of very high quality (aluminum and ABS manufacture), highly corrosion-resistant, and is fitted easily and quickly. It incorporates an in-built anti-theft function, through a key-locking mechanism with lock protection made from ABS.

Snow Chains All vehicles are fitted with a multipurpose tyre prior to leaving the factory. The snow chains are called spiders, which allow easy and fast fitting without moving the vehicle. The snow chains are effective and safe. They allow one to drive without problems on snow or ice. They give comfortable use since the spider system avoids unpleasant jolts when driving. The chains are delivered in a case which can be stored easily and also includes a assembly instruction card and a pair of protective gloves for assembly. It is vital that you check the tension of the chains after a short journey, and to re-stretch them if necessary. This operation must be repeated regularly in the case of prolonged use.

Winter Tyres on selected Peugeot Models

Option 1
Peugeot now has 3 x models available with guaranteed Grip control and MS tyres (Winter Tyres).
Peugeot’s patented Grip Control technology controls and monitors the torque delivered to the wheels to ensure easy and safe driving in Snow or Mud conditions.

This feature, teamed with MS ( Mud and Snow ) tyres means that the vehicle will now meet some of the strictest European regulations and is now able to be driven in areas where winter tyres are recommended or mandatory.

These models are available for collection and return at the following locations,

For vehicle collections and returns to Peugeot Paris locations only we can provide the option of winter tyres being fitted to your clients car at an additional cost of €700. This option is currently available on several 5008 models and the 308SW so please call our team for more details.

M S (Mud and Snow) tyres
These are those with a tread pattern and sometimes compound specifically designed to perform well in poor road conditions. An M&S tyre will usually have a high negative void ratio in order to achieve this.

Some M S tyres rely solely on the aggressive tread pattern to achieve this extra performance whilst others will have the addition of a specially designed rubber compound. In general terms this different compound is usually reserved for out and out winter tyres.

Global Positioning System (GPS) & GPS Nomade

Some models (207 Premium & 207 Premium SW) come with GPS Nomade = portable GARMIN 255 GPS or similar.
You will see from our 2011 price-list that selected models come with GPS

All GPS models include GPS software covering all of "Western Europe".
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Plus the following countries as noted:

Plus, your GPS will display tens of thousands of Points of Interest throughout Europe, including fuel stations, parking buildings, hotels, airports, restaurants, railway stations and more.

Peugeot has three different in-car GPS systems, depending on which vehicle you have booked.

MCP Auto - electronically-controlled manual transmission
Peugeot's Compact Automated Gearbox - built on a 6-speed mechanical base and can function in either automatic or manually controlled modes. This means you will save approx 30% on your fuel costs, compared to a traditional automatic.
It will particularly appeal to drivers who like to control gear changes, which they can do using either the gear lever or the levers behind the steering wheel. Intelligent, it meets the requirements of drivers who favour stress-free journeys by shifting the gears itself, although the driver may, of course, take over control at any point.
