AGE
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum age
is 19 years with a full Australian driving licence (Provisional
licence not accepted). No Maximum Age. |

Drivers must hold a full Australian Licence.
An International Drivers Licence is recommended. |
WHO CAN LEASE
A PEUGEOT:
In
order to do a lease the main driver/additional driver must meet
the following requirements:
- Client
must live outside European Union
- Must be
holidaying (Staying in Europe for less than 185 days in a period
of 12 consecutive months)
- Must not
be working overseas during their holiday. (No working Visa’s
allowed)
- Minimum age of 18
with full Australian driver’s license
(provisional license not accepted).

Passengers
are related
The following family members may drive without the registered driver
in the vehicle within reason, for example they can take the vehicle
for 1-2 days to go sightseeing.
Spouse
of registered driver and son or daughter provided they:
- have
the same surname.
- live with the registered driver
- meet the requirements to be eligible to do a lease
Under
no circumstance can the additional driver take the vehicle across
any borders without the registered driver being in the vehicle.
Passengers
are not related
The registered driver must be in the vehicle at all times when the
additional driver is driving. |
SERVICING
THE VEHICLE:
* The 1st service
is due at 10,000 kilometres or 6months (whichever occurs first).
This service is a warranty inspection and is free of charge. Any
other service is at the driver’s own expense. Please refer
to the table below for a list of when a service is required.

WHO
NEEDS TO COMPLETE A STATUTORY DECLARATION
Only
clients travelling on a European passport need to complete the Statutory
Declaration.
If client has a European passport and an Australian passport please
ask them to provide their Australian passport details and show the
Australian passport on collection |
IF
CLIENT WANTS TO EXTEND LEASE OR CHANGE RETURN DEPOT AFTER COLLECTION
They
cannot extend with Drive Travel they must extend directly with Peugeot.
Please tell them to call Peugeot at least 4 business days prior
to return

HOW
MUCH FUEL IS SUPPLIED
Vehicle
is supplied with 10 - 15 litres of fuel depending on the car type.
The vehicle can be returned with an empty tank. |
WHAT
TO DO IF THEY HAVE AN ACCIDENT
- Call the
Police and keep the original police report
- Contact
the Peugeot assistance company
(see telephone number on page 14 & 15 of booklet in document
wallet)
- If client
has to pay for repairs please advise them they must keep the original
receipt and customers will be reimbursed.

Fax documents:- are not recommended and should only be
done in emergencies. Please contact us to see if fax can be done.
Documents sent
overseas:- If documents need to be sent overseas by Drive Travel
an additional fee will apply. Please contact us to find out the
cost as it varies with which country/city you send the documents
to. Please recommend that the agent sends the documents to the clients
overseas themselves.
PLEASE
NOTE: For last minute booking with vehicle delivery within
5 weeks or for clients departing Australia within two weeks of making
the booking request an Express Postage charge of Approx $10 will
apply to ensure all relevant documents are received and processed
in due time. |

If the client travels to any countries not in the table “where
you can drive your vehicle” and in particular the ones listed

The customer
shall assume full civil, property and legal liability for any incidents
that may occur. Damages to third parties and to vehicles will not
be covered by the insurance and the assistance service will not
be provided.

WHAT
IS COVERED BY INSURANCE
The
vehicle is covered by a multirisk insurance policy without excess
including the following guarantees:

1)
The CIVIL LIABILITY guarantee
The guarantee is granted without any limitation as to the sum,
except for material damage resulting from a fire or an explosion,
which is covered up to a sum of EUR 457,347.05. |
Material
damage and/or bodily injury caused to third parties (including
passengers transported free of charge) when the insured vehicle
is the cause of the accident and the driver's liability is engaged. |
| 2)
The FIRE guarantee |
Destruction
or deterioration of the insured vehicle following a fire, explosion
or lighting.
The guarantee applies even when the damage results from an attack. |
| 3)
The THEFT guarantee
It is subject:
- that
the territorial limits specified in the Practical Memento
submitted to the client are respected
- that
the insurer is handed the original of a complaint record.

Theft
or attempted theft of the vehicle insured.
Theft or attempted theft of elements in the vehicle even if
the latter is not stolen.
Attempted theft of the vehicle is characterized by material
traces: forcing of the locks, broken glass, etc. |

The BROKEN GLASS guarantee |
Breaking,
whatever the cause:
- of
the windscreen,
- of
the rear window,
- of
the lateral windows,
- of
the door windows,
- of
the headlight optics and fog lamp optics.

5)
The NATURAL CATASTROPHES guarantee
(occurring only in France) |
Direct
material damage caused by abnormal intensity of a natural agent
(floods, storm, etc.).
The guarantee becomes effective after publication of an inter-ministerial
decree. |
| 6)
LEGAL PROTECTION |
Defense
of the insured when brought before a court following damage
covered under the Civil Liability guarantee.
The guarantee is granted up to EUR 4573.47
(fines are excluded from the guarantee). |
| 7)
The DRIVER's guarantee |
The prejudice
incurred by the driver of the insured vehicle, independently
of the liabilities incurred.
Guaranteed ceiling limit: EUR 152 449.02. |
| 8)
The ALL ACCIDENTS TO THE INSURED VEHICLE DAMAGE guarantee |
Collision
with a vehicle belonging to an identified person.
Impact between the insured vehicle and a fixed or moving body.
Overturning without prior collision. |
A
summary of the guarantees and ceilings is given on the insurance
certificate handed to the clients on delivery.
NB: Luggage and personal effects transported are not insured
against loss, theft or destruction. |

| WHAT
IS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE
- Flat or
damaged tires, regardless of the cause
- Wrong fuel
type or empty petrol tank.
- The loss,
theft or damage of transported luggage or personal belongings.
- Fines or
penalties for traffic violations
- The loss
or theft of the vehicle keys or the “key code” transponder
card.
