One Way Rentals:
One Way
Rentals between the Southend on Sea and Glasgow depots are
available, and a one way fee of GBP £300 + tax applies
(either direction).
One
Way rentals to other UK and European locations is available
on a request basis only. A fee of approximately £0.75
+ tax per mile applies for each mile between the depot and
the drop off location. If dropping off in Europe / Ireland,
you must also pay the ferry crossing fee for the return trip
for the vehicle.

Vehicle
Insurance:
Limited
Liability Insurance is included in the Daily Rates. This
limits the excess liability to £500 + tax per incident
in the event of an accident. When travelling in Europe the
excess is £1000 + tax per incident. However in the
event of overhead damage, where the excess is £2000
+ tax per incident. Insurance does not cover the replacment
of damaged tyres and windows due to mis-use of neglegence,
and applies to each claim - not rental.
Driver Requirements:
Drivers
must be between 25 and 75 years of age. Drivers outside
of this age bracket may be allowed on request. A higher excess
may apply. You must have held a full licence for a minimum
of 3 years.
PLEASE
NOTE: NO refund will be allowable if at the start
of the hire no driver in the party can comply with able
conditions. Therefore collision charge waiver (LLI) is
mandatory for all hires at GBP14.25 per day (included in
daily rates) which restricts liability to a maximum of
GBP 500
European / Ireland Use
Insurance:
This
is mandetory for all vehicles travelling to Europe / Ireland.
For Europe A fee of £165 for the first two weeks and £47
for each additional week thereafter applies. For Ireland
a fee of £140 per rental applies.
This provides a bail bond for Spain, Green Card and for the supply of a replacement
vehicle or the repatriation to our depot of the passengers in the event of
mechanical malfunction or accident. The supply of a replacement vehicle is
subject to availability. In case of accident a further ERI premium is required;
whoever is responsible for the accident. The rates above only cover countries
in the European Community, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Austria. Please advise
in good time if you intend to visit Eastern European countries or North Africa.
Pick up and Drop off Times:
Depots
are open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm. Sunday may be
available and an additional fee of £88 is payable.
Please note that depots are closed over Christmas & New Year
Period 24 December to 04 January.

train To Southend On Sea from London Liverpool Street station
and get off at Rochford train station (2 stops before Southend
on Sea) - Free pickup from Rochford train station to depot.
To get to depot (Cleland):
Trains
to Cleland rail station ( which is situated directly in front
of location (can be made both from Edinburgh (take bus from
airport to Ediburgh rail station) , or from Glasgow, required
bus from airport as well... Trains can be taken also from
Prestwick with a change over at Glasgow City.... Approx cost
per person is £6 on train and £4 per bus .. equals
at £10 each
Bus
Transfer from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or City
£75
per party + VAT for a maximum or 6 persons. For groups of
7+ the charge is £80 per party + VAT. All transfers
must be prebooked.
Parking:
Your
vehicle can be stored at the depot, but is left at owners
risk.

Getting to
the Southend Depot:
The
Southend on Sea depot is located
40 miles east of London, in Essex.
Transfers are available as noted above, or you can catch the train to Southen
on Sea from London Liverpool Street Station. Get off at Rochford Train Station
(2 stops before Southend on sea). Free pick up from Rochford Train Station
to the depot. (You will need to call the depot earlier to arrange pick up

Motherwell Depot:
